Heartsaflamewow, i'll just say its one amazing conference! though i'll say its really intensive & its only worth your 50 bucks if you are really keen on it :D but anyhow about everything was really good! :) plus all the bonding with the craziest small group in wesley ym, it was pretty much awesome :D i really enjoyed myself since yest! ha all the funny things that happened, i hope i won't forget!
God does not make mistakes, it was not a mistake that i went for it.
even if founder's day dinner was good, heartsaflame was really good & i super do not regret it :) yeah & as said, the company the whole time was awesome. haha! it was almost as good as a camp :D
& charis fan staying over was really fun toooo! :DDD hahahaaa yeah the whole experience was unique, funny & yes anything positive. i'm too lazy to recall it all down here so yes, ask me personally if you wish. oh yes & thanks loads to diane ong for coming as well! :D i think you came out of today convinced you shouldn't go ACSIB HAHAHAA.

& i must say, travelling to acjc for the first time with david & gabriel is totally the wrong choice but also very hilarious :DDDD so many funny qoutes today, i can hardly remember all.

hahaha you know i've been thinking about this latelyLook Up
everyday, we go about doing our normal routine. when we go out by walking or by driving, we always look at the things around us. all those buildings, infrastructure, people, birds crossing the road, cars that make us go so mad sometimes cus they cut into our lanes, & hm you probably get the idea.
& then sometimes, if only we pause & just look up for awhile, you'll realize. that the sky above is actually so beautiful. no matter how hectic it is down here on earth, the sky's always so pretty. sometimes we only look up in the sky when we're on holiday. like when we're away from our busy schedule & we decide to go for a holiday. then do we actually look up. & then we figure out that the sky is quite nice to look at.
do you realize, that sometimes the only time we look up is when the sky's overcast & then we realize the sky is so dark.

& you know, sometimes we get so wrapped up in the activities of this world. we concentrate so much on the things around us, on all the manmade stuff. & then we forget to look up. look up to the beautiful picture of Christ. we forget to do so, why?
then we go for camps, we go for conferences. a break from our normal schedule. then, do we look up. we get that spiritual high.
& at those low times, overcast times, then do we look up.
that beautiful picture, that beautiful Saviour, will always be there. it will never change no matter how much this worldly world changes. He's going to be the same today, now & forever.
thing is, do we choose & remember to look up?
or do we only look up when we realize how screwed our lives are.
friends, what will you choose?

i'm majorly freaking out now. the only subjects i can remember revising quite a bit is emath & amath! & history. oh maaan i need to start on my sciences! sometimes i seriously wish i have less than 8-9 subjects. 9 is counting social studies as a sub on its own. rawr.
God, i need You. i'm gna trust. put that faith again.
hence, i will continue to finish up my quadratic functions. AHHH DIFFERENTIATION & INTEGRATION. i got to start attempting them from tml onwards!

MG Symphony 08haha okay, so! last night was MG Symphony 2008! okay we were a littleee pissed off because they used a really old photo of us, & there were certain errors in our writeup but OH WELL.
yeah i really really really thank God for the pretty much successful day. from the start till the end! though there were a little bit of screw ups here & there when we were up there performing, they werent major & everyone still loved it. & everyone included ourselves! :D man i've never been so proud of all of you before! i don't know about Mrs Soo, perhaps she expects perfection but this is really good enough for me. our hard work (dunno how many hours) really did pay off :D the process of achieving it wasn't really horrible, perhaps a bit of physical pain, but i'm really glad all of you worked really hard for it :) its certainly not my credit at all. its all of you, who worked together so really hard, & glory be to God of course (: without Him, we are nothing at all. & i'm really glad we took time off to pray a couple of times as one big group together (: whoohooo we rock tons :D we're the most bonded group, the most independent group & the happiest group around that night! (:
i'm quite sure you all know, this is a super major improvement from last year so YES GOOOOD JOB you lovely people! (: (are we beating the 2006 standard? haha)
ahhh i totally love you guys man (: heh. oh yes the day was pretty interesting but i'm currently not very free to explain it all here. yeah & thank you to the audience who appreciated our performance! & alllll the people who came down to support :D i hope we didnt disappoint you & your 15bucks! yesyes thank you to my family, Ms Sim & Ms Or, ziteng, david (& friend), church people, lipin emma jasmine charis cherie jieyi, yaaaaan, Ms Kek, rui petty sandra jane pauline & whoever else i missed out! OH YES. hahaha Mrs Yeo! wow i havent seen you for the longest time! really pleasant surprise to seee you thereee (:
okay perhaps i'll say a bit.
getting everyone & everything safely on the bus was a teeny bit hectic,
we were as usual majorly concerned about food & eating every free time possible,
full dress was great,
LAOSHI MADE ME VANDELIZE (sp?) the STAGEEE. & then she told me "nevermind" in chinese of course,
there was no time for tech run,
our holding room was the biggest hohoho & we came up with ingenious temperory changing rooms,
we gave 3cheers for the strings who were making a wholeee lot of noise next door,
gail wanted to sue kfc for giving us stomachaches,
laoshi wanted us to stupidly stand in the cargo lift & wait for it to go up to the backstage just before our turn,
performance was pretty much awesome (OUR MARTS & PLUCKS CAME ON TIMEE!),
we spent plenty of time camwhoring,
the sec3s & below spent alot of time experimenting with make up while the sec4s slept/did physics/assisted with the makeup (i was the physics one, pris was the sleeping one & yeah isabel is the other one),
cherry was the one sharing all the major crazy, hectic, fun moments with me (HAHA LOVE YOU WOMAN! :D)
we concluded that we love laoshi (ms neo)
cherry & i had to carry 2 bunches of flowers to backstage & we gave them names: charles & caroline, sunny & lucy! :P
we were obviously the most bonded & happiest group :DDD
we spent alottt of time outside aft the performances talking & taking pics with everyone we knew!

friday after handbells (which was pretty good), priscilla monica & i went out to seoul garden yay! it was lots of fun :D hehehe finally for once i have suceeded in planning a 100% surprise party! monica always foil my plan one ): so yes! hahaa! just that my mum gave me a very old matchbox which couldnt work & hence priscilla couldn't light up the matchstick. heh go to monica's blog to see the video! funny funny :)

Eeyer hahah today was an okay day. i think teachers are misunderstanding us quite a bit these days. its getting a bittt sian. hahahahaa sigh.
oh but after school was totally fun! hahaha i love you guys man! & yes yes i'm uploading the video now!
& then when i was heading home, i felt squashed like a...squash? hahah yah but anyway what to expect of 171. i was pretty determined to stand at the door so that i won't have to "excuse me" my way through to the exit. i have this strange phobia of the door closing & going on before i actually get out! hahaha okay i have weird phobias with public transport okay i dont know why. thats not the only one but ANYWAY, i was just hanging on to the pole in case i start knocking into people hahahaaa i have terrible inertia. yes & then when i reached my busstop & when the door open my first thought was "HUH HOW COME GOT PUDDLES OUTSIDE & ITS LIKE.. RAINING??!!!" yeah heavy rain that i didnt know was falling till the door opened! i'm pretty sure i'm NOT SLOW because when the door opened the previous stops it wasnt raining okay. it was such a genuine surprise okay. hahahah yes & then my phone signal/network HAD to die on me 30sec aft i got off the bus. & so i was like AHHHH. cus i couldnt contact home or anywhere. hahaha i think i must have looked as if i was dancing around the busstop trying to get signal somehow! bleah so i was stuck at the busstop for almost half an hour & the rain kinda stopped. hahahaah but it was thundering & its really only during times like these you wish you were shorter hahaha. then chance of getting strike by lightning lesser! hahaha so i almost ran all the way home. pooof. no fun with a heavy school bag.
hmm i have no idea why was i hehehehe-ing when i finally reached home! okay whatever :D

Oceans Will Parttiring day today. oral was um, funny & tramautizing. i just hope i did decently well! somehow, i have high expectations of myself when it comes to english. cca was okay, just that we still need to work harder! dinner with charis fan, hahaha she's so weird la okay!
& then something not nice happened :(
ohwell. PRELIMS ARE COMING. it just hit me so hard :( hence, i really will mug super hard from tml onwards. no, i will not screw up my prelims as i did for midyears. haha okay did i screw up my midyears? i don't know.

Chinese O Level Oral tomorrow! o.O thats scary. hahaah i just had tuition & we were doing different possible conversation topics. & all i can conclude is:
